On Wednesday we went on a rainy bush walk with Apiti School It was raining quite a lot as we walked up to Heritage Lodge. It had bunk beds. My whanau group was the last to get up there and back because we were just enjoying the bush and nature.
There was a big bridge that stretched over the river. We got a photo on the way back on the bridge. This was the first time I had been on a bush walk and I loved it. The adults with my group were Mrs Feilder and Mrs Prince.
We ate lunch up at the lodge and after lunch we had a play. Soon it was time to go back home. We took Brooke and Johnnie home as well.
